The Center for Equity Education (CFEE), established in 2020 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, addresses a gap in expert-led education for organizations, especially those with limited resources. At CFEE, our mission revolves around empowering organizations with comprehensive knowledge on federal and state civil rights, specializing in harassment and discrimination, including sexual harassment.
CFEE challenges the notion that tight budgets should hinder institutions from quality training in key equity areas. We believe financial constraints shouldn't impede access to essential education on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEI&A) and Title IX. Institutions often struggle with the cost of these critical trainings. Recognizing this need, CFEE, a nonprofit, aims to remove financial barriers. We provide grant-subsidized, expert-led training to organizations and schools, ensuring they can establish and maintain equitable environments for all.
CFEE was founded in Michigan, but it is a national organization that provides services where requested in the United States. To date, CFEE has provided online and in-person high-quality services in Michigan, Ohio, California, and New Mexico.
